Illustration Friday "Insect"
I'm in the midst of getting my stuff together to finally send out to publishers so I don't have time to work on a new illustration for this topic. But I'm in luck since I have loads of insect illustrations - one of my favorite subjects! This was a little cutie I did in Adobe Illustrator just for the fun of it. I call her "Pretty Ladybug" - original, huh?

i love the use of color in this - very bright! the shading gives the illusion of a light source as well giving it dimension. very cute!

I love lady bugs! Great illo!
I like big butts and I cannot lie. That is disturbingly nice and grotesque at the same time. Normally I'm a big fan of Ladybirds, but that is wrong, but in a good way. I can't put my finger on it, I know I like it, but it creeps me all the same.
